Privacy

This website is static. It sets no cookies, contains no contact form and loads no fonts, scripts or images from third parties. To see which pages are read, it counts visits with a self-hosted, cookieless analytics tool (see below).

Controller

The controller is the operator named in the imprint. You can reach me at [email protected].

Hosting

The site runs on servers I operate myself, rented from Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. When you open a page, the servers process your IP address and technical request data (time, page, browser) to deliver the site and to protect it against attacks; these access logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted. Legal basis is my legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cloudflare

Requests to this site pass through Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA), which resolves the domain, protects the site against attacks and delivers cached copies of its pages. To do so, Cloudflare processes your IP address and the request data on my behalf. Cloudflare is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis is my legitimate interest in a fast, secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Analytics

I count page views with Umami, which I run on my own server (Hetzner, Germany). It sets no cookies, stores no IP addresses and does not follow you across websites: it records the page, the referring site, browser, operating system, device type and the country derived from the IP address, and recognises repeat visits only through a hash that changes regularly. If your browser sends "Do Not Track", nothing is counted. Legal basis is my legitimate interest in knowing which content is read (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); you can object at any time, for example by enabling "Do Not Track".

E-mail

If you write to me, I process your message and address to answer it (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR) and delete them when they are no longer needed, unless retention obligations apply.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).
